Robert Kunen

Vice President Customer Services AF-KLM Cargo

After completing his MSc in Aerospace Engineering, Robert joined KLM in 1998 as a Systems Analyst. He left IT two years later and joined the Cargo organization in 2000, starting in Cargo Revenue Management. At time of the AF-KL merger he moved to Paris as a Customer Service director for France and Africa, followed by regional management positions in Scandinavia and Hong Kong. In 2014, Robert moved back to Amsterdam to implement AFLS (Accenture Freight Logistics System) in Cargo Revenue Management Schiphol.  

Today, Robert is heading AF-KL Cargo's Distribution & Customer Service organization, covering the worldwide Customer Service activity and the continuous innovation of online distribution channels. This includes the realization of AF-KL Cargo’s own myCargo environment as well as the recently launched API interfaces for quotations, booking and track and trace functionalities.
